After much blood, sweat, and tears, the name Jisu Lim (she/her) would be imprinted on the Bachelor’s diploma for Data Science and Economics in a little over a year. Some things that kept her going through her years at Cal were animating and drawing her favorite characters and people. Oh, and her Philz cold brew. After experiencing GBO in a hybrid format in 2021, Jisu sought out to become a GBO Leader in 2022. The program encapsulated her to become an Orientation Mentor in 2023, fueling her motivation to advocate for inclusiveness and well-being within the student body free from academic stress. She will continue to strive for a better GBO experience as a Student Coordinator.
