Komal joined the New Student Services team in January 2023. Her role oversees Parent & Supporter Orientation, Day in the Bay, Bear Pact, Late Night, and Student Coordinator Recruitment and Supervision. Additionally, she works with Yield and January GBO. Growing up in California, Komal spent her college and grad years in the Central Valley. She attended the California State University, Stanislaus majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Komal pursued a M.A. in Higher Education Administration and Leadership at California State University, Fresno due to her experience as an Orientation Leader, Komal’s experience ranges from working with admissions, orientation, student involvement and leadership engagement to housing and residential life, and basic needs. During Komal’s free time, Komal can be seen exploring the bay area, meeting up with friends, and traveling internationally!
