If all goes to plan, the name Anoushka Banerjee will soon be printed on a Bachelors for Urban Studies. As a new transfer student in Fall 2021, Anoushka entered the school with the same feelings as many new students- the ones of being nervous and stressed about what this new beginning would entail and worried that she would not fit in. However, this fear simmered down a matter of moments as she felt right at home due to the GBO program. In hopes of sharing her experiences and love for campus with new transfer students, Anoushka continued on in GBO to be an Orientation Leader, Orientation Mentor, and now Student Coordinator. In her time at Berkeley, she has also been heavily involved in cultural organizations and event-planning groups that have further enriched her experience. She is beyond excited to help bring this sense of community and belonging she found to the next class of incoming students, and hopes to make sure GBO continues to be as magical as it was for her!
